Dr. Tetiana Kalenychenko

Tetiana Kalenychenko holds a Ph.D. in Sociology of Religion.

Her thesis focused on “Religious Component in Socio-Political Conflict in Ukraine, 2013–2017.” Together with other colleagues, she created an organization called “Dialogue in Action,” which aims to develop a culture of dialogue by bringing together secular and religious leaders in the field.

Tetiana has more than 12 years of experience in peacebuilding, sociology of religion, conflict studies, conflict management, restorative practices, and dialogue in cooperation with international organizations (USIP, OSCE, UNDP, USAID, MCC, DRC, and others) as well as many national organizations. She was educated as a peacebuilder at Mirovna Academia in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Since 2023, she has been a Guest Researcher at Sankt Ignatios College (Sweden) and is based in Ukraine. She combines work in analysis and academic research with fieldwork as a dialogue facilitator and trainer in the context of adult education.
