Very Reverend Dr. Haileyesus Alebachew Dr. Haileyesus, as a priest, he serves the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, Mearafe Kidusan Abune Tekle-Haimanot Church, Stockholm. Fr. Haileyesus Alebachew received a PhD in Ge’ez Philology on “The Reception of Ethiopic Enoch in Medieval Ge’ez Texts” at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He holds an MA in Social Psychology, and an MA in English Language from the same university.
He also has a Bachelor of Theology from Holy Trinity Theological College, Addis Ababa. In addition, from the traditional schools of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, he acquired knowledge of Zema, Qene, Qiddase, and Aquaquam. Currently, he is studying for the MA in Eastern Christian Theology, at University College Stockholm.
