Art and culture for displaced Ukrainians
Heliga Anna of Novgorod’s Orthodox parish in Stockholm partnered with Sankt Ignatios to apply for funding from Länsstyrelsen Stockholm (TIA project funds) to provide cultural and artistic activities for Ukrainian refugees residing in the Stockholm region. Together they partnered with the newly established volunteer network House of Ukraine based in Stockholm, to provide meaningful artistic and cultural activities and experiences for people displaced by the war in Ukraine. The project has been able to engage displaced Ukrainian teachers and instructors to serve their ex-patriot communities by creating activities and environments for social and cultural interaction. The current project runs until December 31 2022.
