Overview
This course covers basic grammar in Ge’ez language such as verb conjugation [ዐቢይ ርባታ ከነጓዙ ከነ አበጋዙ] and various ranges of adjectives. In addition, it explores different reading techniques employed in the tradition of Ge’ez language learning. Moreover, the course emphasizes constructing sentences in Ge’ez language and translating sentences from Amharic to Ge’ez and from Ge’ez to Amharic.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Conjugate verbs in different levels.
- Identify different forms of adjectives and use the adjectives in given contexts.
- Construct meaningful sentences.
- Translate sentences from Amharic to Ge’ez and from Ge’ez to Amharic.
