    Registration

At the beginning of each term you must register. Come to the school on registration day during the first week and report to the staff. Cannot come? Send an email to pierre.aziz.nehme@sanktignatios.org. If you do not get in touch, you will lose your place.

  • 2

    Term dates

The school day for Allmän Kurs is from 08.30 to 14.50. Please arrive on time and stay the whole day.

  • 3

    Teacher and mentor

Your teacher is responsible for your teaching. If you have any problems, speak to your teacher first. If that does not help, contact your personal tutor. If the problem persists, turn to the Director of Studies.

Your mentor will help you through your studies. Meet your mentor at least twice per term for advice and support.

Do you need help planning your future? Speak to your mentor.

  • 4

    Schoolsoft

Here you can find information about courses, attendance and grades. Download the app and register. Do you need help? Ask the teachers during registration week.

  • 5

    E-mail

We will communicate with you by email. Please keep your contact details up to date. Do you have a new email or phone number? Notify the course administrator: kursadministrator@sanktignatios.org.

    Support and counselling

We care about your wellbeing. You can get support from the school psychologist. Contact your mentor if you want help.

  • 7

    Special educational needs

Do you have any special requirements? Please let us know before the course starts. We can offer extra help, such as more time or audiovisual support. Support is also available via NAIS: https://www.nais.uhr.se/#

To get help, you need to show a certificate.

  • 8

    Children

You are usually not allowed to bring children to school. If your child is ill or on leave, you are entitled to stay at home.

  • 9

    Changed circumstances

If anything in your life changes and affects your studies, let the school know as soon as possible. If you are away for a long time without telling them, you may have to pay back your CSN grants.

Do you want to withdraw? Send an email with your name, personal identity number and course name to: antagning@sanktignatios.org. You can not deregister with your teacher.

  • 10

    Personal data

We handle your personal data in accordance with Swedish law. You have the right to know what information we hold about you. Contact us for more information.

  • 11

    Attendance

Participants are expected to attend lessons every day during the academic year – unless prevented by illness or in order to look after younger children. In either of these cases, it is important that you inform the school either by registering the absence in SchoolSoft or by contacting your teachers directly.

  • 12

    Leave

If a participant has a special reason to be absent, other than the one above, you can request leave:

Leave of up to 5 days: approved by Deputy Dean.

More than 5 days: approved by the Dean.

  • 13

    Unauthorised absence

Attendance is registered every day. If you are absent without approved absence, you will first receive a warning. If the absence is repeated, you may lose your place at the school.
