Folkhögskola

The courses at Sankt Ignatios Folkhögskola are free of charge for participants who are registered as residents in Sweden.

For certain distance learning programs, participants who reside outside Sweden may be offered a study place subject to a tuition fee.

Service charge

A service fee is charged every semester to cover costs for, amongst other things, insurance, certain course materials, software and refreshments (for on-campus courses).

The service fee is:

• Full-time studies (100%): 1200 SEK per term
• Campus 50%: 600 SEK per term
• Spacer 50%: 400 SEK per term
• On-campus or distance learning 25%: 300 SEK per term

Costs for course literature and any study trips are extra.

University College

Students at Stockholm School of Eastern Christian Studies who are citizens of Sweden, another EU/EEA country or Switzerland, or who have been granted a residence permit in Sweden, do not pay any tuition fee.

However, most students who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland need to pay both an application fee and a tuition fee. Information on who is required to pay fees can be found at universityadmissions.se.

Tuition fees

For full-time studies (30 ECTS per semester), the tuition fee is 25,000 SEK per term.

The following tuition fees apply to single-subject courses:
