How do I apply?

You apply for our folk high school courses via the web form found on the respective course page. The application period opens on 15 March and then runs until all places are filled.

    Confirmation and eligibility assessment

    Once we have received your application, we will send you a confirmation by email. Your application will then be processed based on the general and specific entry requirements that apply to the course you have applied for.

    Interview, level test or admission activity

    For some courses, you may be called to an interview, level test or other admission activity as part of the admissions process.

    Offer of admission

    After the applications have been reviewed, an admission decision is made, and you will be notified by email. If you apply during the regular application period, you will normally receive your admission decision before the summer. Applications submitted later are processed subject to availability, and admission decisions may then be sent out during August.

    Confirm your place

    Once you have been admitted, you need to confirm that you wish to keep your place. Before the course starts, you will receive a welcome letter with practical information about your studies, including the start date of the course and roll call.

    Registration and reporting to CSN

    Following the roll call, you are registered as a participant. For students who have applied for student finance, the school will then report the start of studies to CSN.

University College

Application to courses and programs at the Stockholm School of Eastern Christian Studies is done via antagning.se (for applicants with a Swedish login) or universityadmissions.se (for international applicants).

    Choose a course or program

    Read about our courses and programs on the respective course/program page and check that you meet both the general and specific entry requirements before submitting your application.

    Submit your application

    Submit your application via antagning.se or universityadmissions.se within the application period. If your education requires supporting documents, such as a degree certificate or proof of English proficiency, these must be uploaded according to the instructions on the website.

     

    Applicants from both within and outside the EU are welcome to apply. For applicants from countries outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland, an application fee applies in accordance with the current regulations of the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR).

    Admissions

    When the application period has ended, all applications are reviewed. If you meet the admission requirements and are offered a place of study, you will receive a notification of selection results via antagning.se or universityadmissions.se.

    To keep your place, you need to follow the instructions in your admission notification and reply within the specified time.

    After admission

    Once you have been admitted, you will receive a welcome letter from Sankt Ignatios College containing information about registration, the start of the course and other practical information ahead of the term.
