This is us
We are an inter-orthodox theological institution that collaborates on education and strives for a greater understanding between the Oriental Orthodox Churches and the Byzantine Orthodox Churches under the vision: Learning the Art of Being Many.
In this vision, we see that diversity changes perspectives, fosters communities and stimulates dialogue.

We strive to be an innovative place where students and researchers with different traditions and worldviews gain new knowledge, develop new ideas and build new relationships.
Home
We have chosen Södertälje as our home because of its character and the presence of several different Orthodox churches. Södertälje is a town of 100,000 inhabitants and around 80 nationalities, 45 minutes south of Stockholm. The community is built on both national and religious pluralism, which we recognise ourselves in.
Södertälje is home to the largest Syriac Orthodox communities in Sweden, as well as other Orthodox Christian jurisdictions such as the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Antiochian Greek Orthodox Church.

We acknowledge the challenges that come with diversity. We also realise that this art is something we can never fully master. However, we are committed to learning the art of being many, because we believe that this is the best way to face the future.
