On 13th September the research seminar at Sankt Ignatios welcomed Dr. Marzena Zawanowska who gave a presentation on her research on the attitude of medieval Karaite exegetes towards conversion and converts.
Dr Zawanowska is Lecturer in Department of Jewish Culture and History (Maria Curie-Skłodowska University) and the Department of Hebraistics (University of Warsaw), and works as a curator of the manuscript collection at the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute at Warsaw University.
