Interviews are required as part of the application process. Eligible applicants will be contacted after the application period is over to arrange an interview.
The Admissions Committee will evaluate complete applications after February 15th and will inform applicants of their decision at the beginning of March. After being accepted into one of our programmes, applicants need to apply for a residence permit in Sweden.
A residence permit in Sweden is necessary in order to study at Sankt Ignatios.
The applicant is responsible for his or her own application for residence permit. More information.
Read the instructions and prepare your documentation carefully. The application process takes about three to four months, after which time a decision will be communicated to the applicant.
The residence permit must be supplied to us before an applicant can begin his or her studies, and before an applicant can be fully granted a scholarship.
Please note that acceptance to, and completion of a seminary programme does not constitute a guarantee of ordination in any Church. Only ecclesiastical authorities have the power to decide if a person should be ordained.
